| Elijah Johnson - Freshman Elijah is a first
year high school cross country runner. Son of Lieb and Stacie
Johnson.

As
a freshman, Elijah brings many years of running experience from junior
high cross country and track. After running over 300 miles this
summer, he has stepped up in the top 7 of our team. He has the
ability to be in the top 15 of the area by the end of the season if
he continues to improve. In Elijah's first high school race he
was able to place in the top 10 of the meet and 2nd for our team. Elijah
earned a medal in the Charleston Invitational Varsity race by placing
13th. He placed 2nd overall in the Pontiac quad meet. Elijah
medaled at the Springfield Invitational in the freshman
race by placing 2nd. He made his way into our team's top ten fastest
freshman ever list at the Charleston Invitational,
the Springfield Invitational, the Peoria Notre Dame Invitational, and
the East Peoria Invitational. Elijah worked his
way onto the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leader list in September
& October. Elijah ran a 16:47 at the Prairie Central
Meet. Elijah got injured mid-season and was out for the remander of
the year. Elijah was a first year letter winner as a freshman. |
