Dale Donoho - Senior

Dale is a forth year high school cross country runner and a three year returning letterman. Son of Kevin and Brenda Donoho.
    As a freshman, Dale earned a medal by placing 14th at the Charleston Invitational open race.  Dale helped his freshman team to a 2nd place at the Springfield Invitational.  Dale ran a personal best of 20:19 his freshman year.  This is one of the stronger times in the area for a freshman.  Dale was a first year letter winner as a freshman.
    As a sophomore, Dale has shown great improvement in his overall strength and times.
Dale has shown a great amount of team spirit and determination as a runner this year.  Dale ran a personal best in almost every meet.  He earned in our all time sophomore list at the East Peoria Invitational. By mid-season he already had meet his lifetime best.  Dale worked his way onto the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leader list in September and October.  Dale ran a lifetime best at the Peoria Notre Dame Invitational where he ran a 20:12. Dale was a second year letterman as a sophomore.
     As a junior, Dale's off season training as a swimmer has put his lungs and muscles in a position for him to have a personal best year.  With two years of running experience under his belt, his third year is predicted to have major improvements.  Dale ran right at his personal lifetime best in his second meet out at the Charleston Invitational with a time of 20:16 where he just missed earning a medal by placing 16th.  Dale represented our team in the top 7 Varsity race at the Springfield Invitational.  Dale ran a personal best of  20:01 at the Peoria Notre Dame Invitational.  Dale earned his way onto the top 10 junior fastest times list at the Olympia Invitational.  Dale earned a medal at the Olympia Invitational by placing 16th.  Dale was a third year letterman as a junior.
    As a senior, Dale quickly found himself in a leadership role.  The new and younger runners looked to his experience and consistent running as a runner to strive to hang onto during races.  He earned his way onto the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders List in September and October.  Dale was unfortuntately sidelined with an injury for the majority of his senior year.
