high school cross country runner. Son of James and Mary Hay.

As
a sophomore, A.J. joined our team with no previous cross country experience.
He came into the season with over 100 days of training under his belt.
He earned his way onto our most consecutive days in a row list. A.J.
has shown great determination in his practices and it pays off in the meets.
A.J. cut off more time than anyone on the team between his first and second
race by lowering his time by 1:44. He ran his personal best at
the U-High Invitational where he ran a 21:25. He earned his way onto
our most improved over a career list by improving over 3 minutes in his career.
He earned his way onto the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders List in
September and October. He ran a personal best at the U-high Invitational
with a time of 21:25. |
