| Jeff Coburn - Freshman Jeff is a first year
high school cross country runner. Son of Jeff and Bonnie Coburn.

As
a freshman, Jeff comes to our team with jr. high cross country experience
under his belt. He drastically improved since 8th grade where he ran
a personal best of 24 minutes in the 2 mile. His first high school
3 mile race was in 20:04 at the Charleston Invitational.
He was a member of the freshman
meet championship team at the Springfield Invitational freshmen race. Jeff
went on to run a personal best at the Eureka FS invitational with a time
of 19:35. He was part of the Eureka FS meet championship team. Jeff
continued to improve as he ran a 3 mile PR at the Peoria Notre Dame Invitational.
Jeff had another break through at the U-High Invitational where he
ran a personal best of 19:29. Jeff earned enough points by the Metamora
Invitational to earn a varsity letter. He earned his way onto the
News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders List in November. |
