| Kenny Pauley - Sophomore Kenny is a
first
year high school cross country runner. Son of Kevin and
Lisa
Pauley.

As a
sophomore, Kenny joined us with two years of junior high cross country
experience. Kenny is a hard worker in practice and brings a great
attitude to the team. He helps pull his teammates in workouts
which has made our team better. Kenny took the summer running
seriously which helped him jump into the program right
away doing well. He had an excellent start to the season and ran
a
23:44 at the Charleston Invitational. Kenny made his way onto
the News-Gazette prep cross country leaders in September. Kenny
went on
to run a lifetime personal best time of 23:19. He helped his team
win
the meet championship for the open race at the Springfield
Invitational.
Kenny made our team's scholar/athlete list due to his great
grades
the previous year. Kenny ran a major personal best at the East
Peoria Invitational. He ran a 21:56 which was a 1 minute and 23
second improvement. This was the second biggest personal best for
our entire team. |
