   As a Freshman, Bryson joins us with both cross country and track experience at the junior high.  Bryson proved himself to be one of the strongest runners in our junior high history both in track and cross country.  Bryson was a three time State qualifier in cross country in junior high.  He was an All-State runner as an 8th grade runner in cross country.  Bryson ran over 300 miles in the summer earning himself a spot on our team's 300 mile club.  He quickly showed he had the heart to run with the top returning runners in the early weeks of practice.  Bryson started off his high school career with a strong race at the Charleston Invitational.  He ran in the top 7 runners for our team helping them win the 13 team invitational.  He earned a medal by placing 15th.  He beat out many great runners from other teams, including 4 other state ranked teams present.  Bryson earned a spot on our team's 16 minute 3 mile club by breaking into the 16's with a 16:37.  This was his lifetime best.  He cut off over 20 seconds from his previous best.  Bryson earned the 3rd spot for our team's fastest freshmen top times list for the Charleston Invitational.  He earned himself a spot on the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders list in September.   Bryson ran a great race at the Springfield Invitational.  He won the meet with a fast time of 10:42 on a very challenging course.  He earned a medal for winning the invite and helped his team win the team trophy.  He helped lead his team to the lowest team score we have seen at this invite with a score of 16.  He earned the 4th spot on our team's fastest freshmen times list at the Springfield Invite.  He earned enough Varsity letter points after his second race to earn his first varsity letter.  Bryson earned his way onto our sub 30 South Mahomet loop again as a freshman.  Bryson ran a lifetime personal best at the Peoria Notre Dame Invitational.  He ran a 16:05 just missing the 15's.  He had a 32 second improvement.  He ran 8th for our team which placed 4th in the 69 team invitational.  He earned the 3rd highest spot on our team's fastest freshman times list for the PND Invitational.  Bryson Keeble ran the 6th fastest freshmen time ever run by a Mahomet runner at any meet in 46 years.  Bryson ran in the varsity race at the East Peoria Invitational.  He missed earning a medal by less than half a second.  He ran a 16:16 to place 21st in the meet.  He helped his team win the invitational.  He earned 2nd fastest freshmen time ever run at this invite by a Mahomet runner.  He earned himself a spot on the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders list in October.  Bryson joined our Old Dog club by breaking 5 minutes in the mile.  Bryson ran a season best time at the Metamora Invitational where he broke into the 15s for the first time.  He ran a 15:56 earning Illinois Elite Status by Dyestat.com.  He was the fastest freshman in the 26 team invitational with 5 State ranked teams.  He earned a medal by placing 27th.  He earned the 4th spot on our team's fastest freshman top times list for the Metamora Invitational.  He became the 6th freshman in 46 years of our program to break into the 15's.  He ranks number 6 in the 46 year history of our program for fastest freshman times in 46 years in any race.  He joined our team's 15 minute 3 mile club with his 15:56.  Bryson won the open race at the Conference meet with a time of 15:47.  This was the 3rd fastest time ever run by a Mahomet freshman in the past 46 years in any race on any course.  He ran the fastest Mahomet freshman time ever run in the conference meet.  He helped lead his team to win the open race with a low score of 17 points.  Bryson's fast time was a 9 second improvement from his previous lifetime best.  Bryson earned a position on our State team roster.  Bryson ran in the Regional meet helping them win the meet.  Bryson also helped his team run the fastest top 7 runner average we have had at the Regional meet since 1970.  Bryson ran a solid performance at the Sectional meet despite the poor racing conditions.  He ran a gutsy race to place 34th with a time of 16:24 in the cold rain.  He helped his team win the Sectional meet and became a State qualifier as a freshman.  He ran the 6th fastest Mahomet freshman time ever run in a Sectional meet.  Bryson also earned a spot on the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders List in November.   He was one of the only freshman Mahomet runners to ever qualify for State.  He helped set his team up to place 2nd in State.  Bryson won our fastest freshman award.  Bryson and his teammates earned at medal at the State meet for placing 2nd.  Bryson earned a spot on the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders List in December.  He also earned a spot on the New Gazette All Area Special Mention List. 

   As a sophomore, Bryson came into the season stronger than ever.  He had a great track season and ran 600 miles in the summer to get ready for the XC season.  Bryson had a great opening to his sophomore season where he ran a 16:03 at the Charleston Invitational.  He placed 8th overall to help his team place 1st-8th in the 13 team invitational.  He earned the 5th fastest spot on our team's fastest top sophomore times list for the Charleston Invitational.  He earned a medal by placing 8th.  He earned a spot on our team's 16 minute 3 mile club and barely missed the 15 minute 3 mile club.  Bryson improved 24 seconds from his last year's time at this same race.  Bryson
earned a spot on the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders list in September. Bryson picked up an individual win as he won a 20 team Springfield Invitational open race.  He earned a medal for his high finish and helped his team win the invite.  He earned his second high school varsity XC letter after this meet.  He earned a spot on our team's fastest sophomore top times list for the Springfield Invitational.  Bryson ran a solid race on a wet course at the Peoria Notre Dame Invitational.  He ran a 16:23 to help his team place 2nd in the the 70 team invitational.  Bryson earned the 12th spot on our team's fastest sophomore times list at the PND Invitational.  Bryson ran a comfortable 16:43 at the East Peoria Invitational.  He spent the majority of the racing pacing a teammate to his personal best.  Bryson still placed 3rd in the fresh/soph race which earned him a medal.  He became only the 3rd runner to ever place that high in the fresh/soph race at this invite from our team in the past 12 years.  He earned the 18th fastest spot on our team's fastest sophomore times list at this invite.  Bryson earned a medal at the Metamora Invitational where he placed 24th in the 26 team invitational.  He earned the 5th fastest sophomore time on our fastest times at the Metamora Invite.  He earned a spot on our team's 15 minute 3 mile with his time of 15:41.  This was his lifetime best time.  He earned a spot on the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders List in October.  Bryson ran a smart race at the conference meet where he ran a 16:34.  He placed 11th in the open race.  He ran the 19th fastest sophomore time on our fastest sophomore times list for the conference meet.  He earned a spot on our team's State roster team.   Bryson helped our team to a Regional Championship.  He placed 16th.  He ran a 15:52 which earned him the 2nd fastest time on our team's fastest sophomore list at the Regional meet.  Bryson ran 5th for his team.  He ran a lifetime 3 mile best at the perfect time when his team needed him to.  He improved 32 seconds from his 2015 Regional time.  He helped his team run the fastest top 5 and top 7 runner average we have ever had at this meet.  Bryson ran a solid race at the Sectional meet.  He ran a 16:07 to place 28th.  He was one of the two runners that beat the runners our team needed to beat in order to make sure our team won the Regional and Sectional meets.  Without his great improvement compared to the opponents runners we would not have won.  He helped our team run the fastest top 7 runner average at the Sectional meet in our 47 year history.  He earned the 11th fastest sophomore time at the Sectional meet for a Mahomet runner in 47 years.  He became a state qualifier for the second year in a row.  Bryson also earned a spot on the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders List in November.  He earned a medal for being part of our State championship team.  Bryson earned the most valuable fresh/soph award his sophomore year  Bryson made the final News Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders List in December.  He also earned a spot on the New Gazette All Area Honorable Mention List.

   As a junior, Bryson ran more than ever in the summer.  His summer preparation paid off as he stepped right up to the top of our pack.  He earned a spot on our team's 600 mile club and 1000 York mile club.  He earned being a captain his junior year.  His strength showed as he opened up at the Charleston Invitational with a comfortable 16:01.  His place earned him a medal and his time earned him the 11th spot on our team's fastest junior times list for the Charleston Invitational.  Bryson helped lead our team to a runner-up finish at the Springfield invitational.  He ran a solid race with a time of 16:20.  His time earned him the 15th fastest spot on our top juniors time list at the invitational.  Bryson earned a medal by placing 13th in a tough field of many state ranked teams.  He earned enough letter points to earn his third varsity cross country letter.  Bryson broke into the 15s at the Peoria Notre Dame Invite.  It was a hot day which hurt the times, but he still managed to earn a spot on our team's 15 minute 3 mile club.  He ran a 15:58 which earned him the 18th spot on our team's fastest junior top times list for the PND invite.  He ran fourth for his team beating the #2 AA State ranked team.  He improved 25 seconds from his last year's PND invite time.  He earned a spot on the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders list in September.  Bryson helped his team win the East Peoria Invitational as they beat the #2 State ranked team.  Bryson earned a medal by placing 20th.  He ran a time of 16:35 which earned him the 23rd spot on our fastest junior time list at the East Peoria Invitational.  Bryson earned our scholar/athlete award by winning an academic letter.  Bryson also made our most consecutive days in a row club for his consistency in his running.  Bryson helped our team win the 29 team Metamora Invitational.  He ran a 16:49 which was fast enough to earn the 28th spot on our team's fastest junior times list at the Metamora Invitational.  Bryson helped his team win the Apollo Conference meet.  He ran a 16:42 which earned him the 34th spot on our team's fastest junior times list at Conference.  He placed 13th in the Conference meet.  Bryson made our State team roster for the third year in a row.
  He earned a spot on the News Gazette Area Cross Country Leaders List in October.  Bryson ran a strong race at the Sectional meet.  He ran in the 15s to run 4th for our team which helped us win the meet.  He became a three year State qualifier.  His time of 15:58 earned him the 17th spot on our team's fastest junior times list at the Sectional meet.  Bryson helped his team run the 2nd fastest top 5 and 2nd fastest top 7 runner average in our 48 year history at the Sectional meet. He earned a spot on the News Gazette Area Cross Country Leaders List in November.  Bryson ran a strong race at the State meet.  He ran a season best 3 mile time with a 19 second improvement from his season previous best.  His improvement was at the perfect time as he helped his team win the State championship.  He earned a medal for being part of our State championship team.  He helped his team run the 2nd fastest top 5 runner average we have had at State.  He ran the 10th fastest junior time we have had at the State meet.  Bryson earned second team all-area honors by the News Gazette.

   As a senior, Bryson worked his way back from an injury from track which hurt his summer training.  Bryson opened up his senior year by placing 18th at the Charleston Invitational with a 17:52.  He helped his team win the invitational.  Bryson earned a medal for his high finish and earned the 32nd spot on our team's fastest senior times list at the Charleston Invitational.  Bryson earned a spot on the News Gazette's top times list for September.  Bryson was runner up in the Monticello Triangular meet where he helped our team win the meet.  Bryson ran a 17:36 in the Monticello triangular meet. Bryson ran 2nd for our team at the Peoria Notre Dame Invitational where he placed 200th.  He broke into the 16s with a 16:54 earning our team's 16 minute 3 mile club honors for the season.  Bryson helped his team place 35th in the meet.  He improved 42 seconds from his season best to run that quickly.  He earned the 29th spot on our team's fastest senior times at the Peoria Notre Dame meet.  Bryson earned his forth XC varsity letter after the PND meet.  Bryson had another big improvement at the East Peoria Invitational where he cut off 39 seconds from his season best.  He ran a 16:15 to place 2nd on his team.  He placed 14th in the invitational and earned a medal for his high place.  He helped lead his team to a 3rd place trophy.  Bryson improved 20 seconds from his least year's East Peoria time.  He earned the 18th fastest spot on our team's fastest senior times list at this invite. Bryson earned a spot on the News-Gazette All Area Leaders List in October. Bryson had a great race at the Metamora Invitational where he led the first 1/3 of the race.  He showed he was an elite runner by breaking into the 15s on a muddy course.  He placed 10th overall to earn a medal.  He ran a 15:58 earned him the 18th spot on our team's fastest senior times list at the Metamora Invitational.  He helped lead his team to earning a team trophy.  He earned our team's 15 minute 3 mile club. Bryson earned All-Conference honors at the Conference meet.  He placed 10th against a strong field.  He earned a medal for his high finish.  He once again earned a spot on our team's State meet roster. Bryson continued to end his high school cross country career in a great way.  After earning All-Conference he went on to win All-Regional by placing 5th.  He earned a medal for his high finish.  He ran his season 3 mile best of a 16:07 in a horribly windy day beating the 2 mile State champ in the process.  Bryson helped his team qualify for the sectional meet.  Mathias earned a spot on our team's fastest junior times list at the Regional meet.  Bryson placed 15th at the Sectional meet.  He helped his team place 6th in the meet.  Bryson qualified for State as an individual.  He became a 4 time State qualifier.  He earned the 25th spot on our team's fastest senior times list at the Sectional meet.  Bryson tied his season 3 mile best time at the State meet.  He ran a 16:07 to place 95th.  He earned our team's 29th spot on our fastest senior times list at State.  Bryson ended his high school career as a 4 time State qualifier.  This was quite an accomplishment as he came off an injury from track that prevented him from putting in very many summer miles.  Bryson chowed great courage and determination not to give up when everything was against him physically.  He improved nearly 2 minutes from the first race to the last showing how strong mentally he is as a runner. 
Bryson earned a spot on the News-Gazette Prep Cross Country Leaders List in November.  Bryson once again earned News-Gazette All Area Special Mention Honors.
