Josh Mock
  
Josh was a 2011 Mahomet-Seymour High School Boys Cross Country Hall of Fame Inductee.

Josh ran during the 1995, 1996, 1997, and 1998 seasons.

Josh was meet champion of the open race at the Conference meet as a freshman in 1995.    He was the 1996 Chrisman Cowchip Classic #4 Race meet champion.  He was the 1996 Mahomet Seymour/Urbana/Stephen Decatur triangular meet champion.  He was the 1997 Mahomet Seymour/Urbana/Mt. Zion/Decatur St. Theresa quadrangular meet champion.  He was the 1997 Tuscola Invitational meet champion.

Josh Mock was All-Conference (top 10) for 3 years.  He placed 10th in 1996.  He placed 5th in 1997.  He placed 6th in 1998.

Josh was on the All-Regional (top 5) team in 1996 and 1998.  He placed 2nd in 1996 and 5th in 1998.

Josh was on the All-Sectional (top 10) team in 1996, 1997, and 1998.  He placed 10th in 1996.  He placed 2nd in 1997.  He placed 9th in 1998.

Josh was a four time State qualifier (1995, 1996, 1997, and 1998).  He was an All-State (top 25) runner in 1996 when he placed 22nd.  He was part of the teams that placed 4th in 1995 and 1996.  He was in a unique time when Mahomet-Seymour went from being a larger single A school to one of the smallest AA schools in a two class system.  Josh managed to compete well despite the jump in classes. 

Josh has continued his running career running anything from the mile to ultra-marathon races.
