was a 2016 Mahomet-Seymour High School Boys Cross Country Hall of Fame
Inductee. Justin ran during the 2003, 2004, 2005, & 2006 seasons. He was a four year letterman. Justin was captain of his team his junior and senior years. Justin was the winner of our team's most valuable fresh/soph runner as a freshman and sophomore. He was the most valuable runner as a junior and senior. He was the Bulldog award winner his sophomore, junior and senior years. Justin was the 2004 Eureka Fresh/Soph Invitational champion. He was the 2004 SJO, Danville, and Mahomet triangular meet champion. He was the 2004 Bloomington Central Catholic, Rantoul, and Mahomet triangular meet champion. Justin was the 2006 Charleston Invitational champion. Justin was the 2006 Regional meet champion. Justin was All-Conference his sophomore, junior and senior years. He placed 8th as a sophomore, 7th as a junior and 4th as a senior. Justin was in the top 10 at the Regional meet his sophomore, junior, and senior years. He placed 8th as a sophomore and 9th as a junior. Justin was on the All-Regional (top 5) team his senior year. He was the Regional champion his senior year. Justin was on the All-Sectional (top 10) team his senior year. He placed 9th. Justin was a State qualifier as a senior. He placed 124th. Justin's fastest time was 15:38 as a senior. Justin went on to lead his college team at Carthage College. |
