This website was created to document the history of the Mahomet-Seymour Junior High cross country program. The Mahomet-Seymour junior high program had their first official team in 1984. The high school coach John King did allow a select few motivated junior high runners to train with the team before 1984. David Wieneke and Neil Mathis were two runners that ran for Mahomet before we had an official team. They ran in 1979 and 1980 and will appear in some of the State meet results.
