The title belt is an award to encourage runners to be competitive.  The title belt is an old plastic WWF belt that is duct taped.  The rules of the title belt are fairly simple.  The current title belt holder has the title belt until they are challenged by another teammate.  Any teammate can challenge the current title belt holder to any reasonable race.  The challenge can be a short or long race, an obstacle course, or any unique challenge that requires a competition to arise.
